Janet Burchfield, Broker, Front Street Realty and Catherine Martyn, Loan Officer, Peoples Bank, instructors trained by the WSHFC are offering to teach a Home Buyer's Class if there is interest in our community.
It will be located in either Coupeville or Oak Harbor, depending on enrollment, and we will provide you with a box lunch, coffee and other beverages, a Buyer's Ed workbook (thanks to MGIC for providing the workbooks without charge), a very informative workshop and the chance to ask all your questions.
Preregistration is a must, so that WSHFC can give certificates, and also because the class size will be limited to 12 for this training.

A neat note: the mortgage guarantor companies, like MGIC, are happy to indirectly sponsor these educational workshops, because they find that default rates are cut down by something like 90% for new home buyers who participate.
